The covers for the three books that will be re-released next as part of Del Rey’s continuing Star Wars: The Essential Legends Collection campaign have been revealed. Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, Death Troopers, and X-Wing: The Krytos Trap will be the three new books in this fourth wave of re-releases. They’ll be released on August 2, 2022.
This announcement comes just weeks after the fifth wave of titles was reportedly leaked by Edelweiss, a publishing industry site, indicating a release date of November 1, 2022, for those titles.

As you may notice, currently it appears that only Darth Maul: Shadow and X-Wing: The Krytos Trap will be getting the audiobook treatment. We’ve reached out to Del Rey for a response but as of writing this article, we’ve received none. However, we will update this promptly if we do.
