Today, Lucasfilm and Respawn debuted a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. As we previously reported, the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ journey is titled Jedi: Survivor.
According to the trailer synopsis, the sequel will take place five years after the events of the first game, which is during the same time as the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. The trailer opens with imperial stormtroopers marching in a corridor, followed by the damaged interior of the Mantis, which is crashed on an unknown desert planet.

In the next scene, a male Pau’an is taunting Cal from his office on Coruscant. Given the time period and the importance of the Inquisitorius in the first game, some speculated that he may be the Grand Inquisitor. However, Lucasfilm confirmed that the Pau’an is an Imperial senator and not the Grand Inquisitor.

As depicted above, Cal is also shown dueling a hooded figure with a red lightsaber, most likely another Inquisitor.

The trailer concludes with Cal Kestis sporting a new outfit and haircut, along with his faithful droid BD-1 viewing a mysterious figure that is healing in a bacta tank.
Although the teaser didn’t provide any gameplay footage or a release date, it most definitely excited fans for its anticipated release in 2023.
