Today, the LEGO Group revealed its annual Star Wars advent calendar. The set will be released on September 1st and will retail for $44.99 with 329 pieces. SPOILERS ahead if you want to be surprised by the advent calendar’s contents! The calendar includes a total of eight minifigures, which include R2-D2 in a C-3PO sweater, C-3PO in an R2-D2, Darth Vader in Death Star tank top, Santa-themed GNK, snowtrooper, Luke Skywalker in his Hoth outfit, phase 1 clone commander, and a battle droid. Earlier today, Diego Luna appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming Andor Disney+ series and debut a new trailer. Before revealing the trailer, Luna mentioned that the series would have a new premiere date. Andor was originally planned to begin streaming later this month on August 31st, but it is now pushed back to September 21st. With the new September release date, the premiere will feature three episodes instead of one. This past weekend Hasbro revealed some upcoming products at San Diego Comic-Con. The assortment ranged from Black Series, Vintage Collection, and Retro Collection. At the panel, Hasbro debuted action figures, vehicles, and roleplay items from The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Jedi: Survivor, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The toy company also unveiled two new Halloween-themed figures and teased some pipeline reveals for the upcoming Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary in 2023. In an exclusive interview with Empire Magazine, The Mandalorian actor and director Carl Weathers discussed his directorial role in the upcoming season. Weathers previously directed “Chapter 12: The Siege” in the series’ second season, where Din Djarin, accompanied by Greef Carga, and Gina Carano’s Cara Dune infiltrated a secret Imperial base on Nevarro. On the final day of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Lucasfilm shared new details and a trailer for the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. In the upcoming season, the crew will have a new look. During the third day of the Star Wars Celebration, Dave Filoni revealed his new upcoming animated project. Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will be a six-episode anthology series revolving around several prequel Jedi. The series will use an animation style similar to The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. Today, Lucasfilm and Respawn debuted a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. As we previously reported, the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ journey is titled Jedi: Survivor.
